A New Easter Play For 2010
Paul Tinder and Vaughn Taylor present The Answer, a new Easter play for Easter 2010.
The Answer
Lives were lived, allegiances were strained, commitments broken, hopes destroyed and lies told by human beings who lived in Jerusalem during the powerful days that we now call… Easter.
The Bible tells us that the early followers of Jesus were in hiding after he was arrested. If so, who could have seen what the scriptures tells us happened, certainly not them.
The veil was hung between the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies. No disciple had access to this sacred place. Who then witnessed this massive wall of textile torn in two from top to bottom? Who saw the dead walk? And why did unexplained darkness hide the visage of our Lord for three hours during the middle of the day?
Easter’s familiar images; the guilty set free while the innocent perish, the Cross, the scourging, the blood, the betrayal, the veil torn, tombs opened and a mother’s pain. “The Answer” tells the story of Easter in a fresh and dynamic way through the eyes of individuals who witnessed and experienced, first-hand, what we have come to take for granted. This first person story brings home to us a more detailed account of how these lives were forever changed by the sacrifice of Jesus.
Be a witness of these events in a unique and powerful new way. Your appreciation and understanding of Easter will never be the same after you experience…
“The Answer”
“The play titled The Answer is a completely different perspective on the Easter experience. It has a few twists and surprises which keeps the audience guessing and captivated. At the end, the Easter story is portrayed in a way that’s heart warming, encouraging, and compelling. It is a great presentation of the Lord’s love and mercy toward humanity. It is also an excellent opportunity to reach lost souls. The unsaved cannot see this play without realizing their need for a Savior, and His love for them.”
